The Feast of Annunciation Mass
 The Feast of the Annunciation, on 25th March, celebrates the Blessed Virgin Mary’s willingness to listen to God’s will and to say YES to a work which would bless God’s people powerfully. If the Church in any place or time is to carry out what the Lord has brought it into being to accomplish, it must, in the face of His calling, respond with that same grace which was given the Blessed Virgin, enabling her to say, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to your word.”
At the request of Fr Ambrose Walsh, who is now Spiritual Director to the National Service Committee for Charismatic Renewal in Wales & Herefordshire, DST Cardiff is holding a prayer vigil on the Feast of the Annunication. The purpose of the vigil would be: · to come before the Lord expressing our obedient attentiveness to all that He is calling it to be and do at this moment ·to pray for the appointment of new bishops for Cardiff and Wrexham · to pray for guidance for the leaders of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Wales Mass will be offered for these intentions at 7.40 p.m. on Friday 25th March at St Dyfrig’s, Treforest, followed by half an hour of adoration and led prayer for the same intentions; there will be Benediction and Night Prayer at 8.45 p.m. – All are welcome.
DST Focuses on Young People (under 25) The Diocesan Service Team has formed a Working Party to look at what charismatic renewal in our diocese should be offering for young people. If you are under 25 and have experienced Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and have any talents in the areas of music, preaching and teaching the word of God, or leading groups, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for young people who might want to be on the working party, and young people who wouldn’t want to be on a committee but who would like to get involved with running events we might plan.
