World Youth Day London 2016

*Urgent* Thought I'd give people the heads up on what is going on here. There is a battle going on in the hierarchy of the church. There are those who want World Youth Day to be held in Britain and those that definitely do not. This WYD-UK event site on facebook may look harmless enough, but it is extremely important (if you want WYD to come to Britain) that you go to this page and hit the join/attend button. Any excuses not to bring WYD to this country will be used to scupper it. It is also important to then click on the invite button and get your Catholic friends to sign up. If you think I am joking then I have been doing some work on this for the past year and a half and you would be surprised by the number of Bishops that do not want WYD in this country. Please spread the word because this FB event site is actually more important than it initially appears.

'Set Free to Serve' is a non-residential healing conference and will be
held at St Marys Catholic High School Hereford Wed 6-Friday 8 June inclusive. It is being led by Fritz and Diana Mascarenhas who for over 20 years
have served as directors of ICPE mission centres in different parts of the world and are now based in India. They will be joined by Fr Elias Vella from Malta who frequently ministers with them and is commisioned by the Bishop to work in the ministry of healing and deliverence and pastoral care. They have led Set Free weekends in many countries, including Australia, Canada , Malaysia and India and prompted by their
bishop they are now coming to the UK.The Set Free conferences are based

(John ch 8 v.36 'When the Son sets you free, then you shall be free indeed'.)
The conference seeks to bring healing and wholeness in the power of the Holy Spirit and the restoration of our true identity in Christ through the Cross, the Sacraments and the Word of God.
We are really excited that 'Set Free to Serve' is coming to this
country. Spaces will be limited so its suggested that you book early.
