Couples there who are faithful to the Church's teaching in "Humanae Vitae" and the Theology of the Body felt a need to start a group based around natural family planning. Catholic married couples are welcome to express their problems and concerns openly through this forum and a facebook forum, especially if they are trying to conceive, trying to avoid pregnancy, or are just open to bigger families. The Gospel of Life invites all Catholics , married or single, to join this group to talk openly about NFP and the Church's teaching. The Gospel of Life group also seeks to bring about awareness among Catholics about Creighton Model fertility care system system and the Pope Paul VI institute which was started in the United states by Dr Thomas Hilgers. Dr Hilgers methods is much approved by the vatican and is completely prolife.. The model seeks to treat underlying gynaecological causes of women's diseases and infertility problems.. This approach is still in its infancy in the UK and is not known by many Catholics. Dr Hilgers approach needs to be known by the people of Wales and to people working in the NHS.
